Orphan Child is a representation of Palestine, the motherland, and generations of children of the diaspora. Now in Gaza, as we witness a new phase of the never-ending Nakba, children lose their mothers, and mothers, their children. Yet we know that they are not dead, rather “they are alive”, “بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ”, as the Holy Quran states. And so, Palestine too is alive.
